PhDr. et Mgr. Martin Rychlík, Ph.D.

Ethnologist and journalist specialized in science and research. Graduated in ethnology, history and culture theory from the Faculty of Arts, Charles University. In 2011, received his Ph.D. from the Institute of Ethnology, Charles University where he also works as an assistant professor. In 2009, fellowship program at the University of Tokio (science communication).

His interests include history of tattooing, anthropology of art and cultural sites, especially Polynesia. Author of two books, editor of two popular science books. From 2000 to 2006, worked as an editor at the Czech Press Agency, later in the Euro magazine (2006-2010). Since 2010, editor of Česká pozice news website, contributing writer for Lidové noviny, involved in science popularization. Member of the Advisory Board for the Czech Committee for UNICEF.
